I love making these sausage patties not just for breakfast, but anytime! Breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, snack, bedtime snack, you get the point!
The sweetness of these sausage patties reminds me of Longanisa (Filipino Sausage) so I enjoy eating them with eggs and tomatoes! Paleo-silog? Enjoy!
Paleo Maple Sausage Anytime Patties
Yields: 4 sausage breakfast patties or 8 mini breakfast sausage patties
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
- Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (or more, if you like the heat!)
- Pinch of Ground Cloves
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
- Form into patties
- Place a large cast iron skillet on medium-high heat
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side
